This documentary looks at individuals who live with the hope that their stories will challenge our conscience and inspire communities to act with compassion. Stigma and discrimination have touched all aspects of the HIV/AIDS epidemic leading to reduced quality of health, and also cause the spread of HIV. The AIDS Committee of York Region is the only organization which provides HIV education, prevention and support services in York Region. There are more then 65,000 Canadians who are HIV positive. Ontario has more then 26,490 people living with HIV/AIDS and has experienced the greatest number of HIV infection since the start of the epidemic.
